Tavern and Table Fall Menu Tasting

With the change of seasons, comes a change of menu for Tavern and Table. We were so excited to be invited to the tasting for their new fall menu. And let us tell you, it was UNREAL! It was an awesome time with some other local food, lifestyle, and fashion bloggers. We always have so much fun meeting other local creatives here, it really is a special community to be apart of! Here is a break down picture by picture of what we had and what we thought about it!

Like we always say, whether you are visiting or a local, y’all need to check this place out for either brunch, lunch, or dinner! Cheers to great food, drinks, and company!

Cheers,

^The “PERfect Thyme”: This is made with pear shrub, simple syrup, and prosecco. Super refreshing and great flavor!

^ Deep Fried Deviled Eggs: I mean is there anything deep fried that isn’t delicious?! The bacon and chive on top made for the perfect bite.

^Ramen Noodle Salad: We loved how light and refreshing this dish was. The shrimp was poached and perfectly cooked! A great meal for sitting by the water!

^Kale and Brussel Salad: This was paired with a turkey panini (not pictured) and holy moly it was so good. We will let the picture do the talking on this one.

^ Flatbreads: We got to try 4 different flatbreads from their awesome pizza oven. There was an Italian, prosciutto and fig, lamb gyro, and mushroom flatbread. These are thin, crispy, and perfect for an appetizer or to have as a meal!

^Duck Four Ways: Trust us when we say, it’s as good as it looks. The duck was paired with a delicious cherry sauce that really complimented the duck flavor!

^Osso Buco: It’s hard to describe how insane this dish was. Fall off the bone meat, cheese grits, and roasted peppers. A very indulgent meal if you are looking to go all in at dinner!

^Shrimp and Grits: A southern staple and classic! Honestly we had never had shrimp and grits until we moved here, and we are so glad we did, because we had been missing out on a whole lot!hah. Chef Katie put her twist on this dish by adding had spicy chorizo, fresh tomatoes and a lot of different spices!

^Homemade Ice Cream Cake : If y’all have a sweet tooth, this dessert is for you. Even though we were so full from everything else, we definitely made room for this beauty! The homemade ice cream, fudge, snickers bar, and whipped cream was perfection.
